1. Buy whole-wheat pasta and flour instead of their refined counterparts. Whole-wheat products contain more fiber and other nutrients such as magnesium and potassium.
2. Snack on popcorn. It's a good source of fiber, plus research* indicates that popcorn eaters benefit from a 250% higher intake of whole grains and 22% more fiber than people who don't pop.
3. Eat oatmeal. It's as simple as that.
4. Whether you're eating out or staying in, choose brown or wild rice instead of white rice.
