  • Lying supine, extend your arms straight over your head and your legs straight out (pointing your toes) in the opposite direction. Reach; extend and hold for 10 seconds; relax. Repeat two or three times.

General tips: Not wearing shoes assists in proper extension. Begin with 5-10 minutes of light warm-up. Perform exercises in order given. Progress slowly; hold each position for 10 seconds. Extend to 15-20 seconds as flexibility increases. Never "bounce" to stretch. Cool down for 5-10 minutes.
