1. Keep it light and loose. Wear clothes that don’t absorb the sun’s heat. Find light colors (light blues, whites, yellows) that reflect those heat-making rays. Wearing loose, comfortable, breathable material is also a good way to keep sweat away from your skin and help your body breathe.
2. Don't get sunburnt. Sounds like common sense, right? You’d be surprised at how many people stay out in the sun too long and roast by accident. Don't skimp on the SPF, wear a hat, and find some shade.
3. Cold can, cool head. Press a cold can of soda to your forehead and neck. That will cool the blood flow to your brain and at least temporarily cool you off.
4. Wear long sleeves and pants. If there's no humidity or low humidity, cover up with light-colored clothes. That will help keep your skin cool and protected.
5. Use your furnace fan. Most homes will let you run the furnace fan without igniting the furnace. This will help circulate air, clean it through the filter, and even out hot and cold spots.
